EAT CHOW


New American, is my kind of American. It has become it’s own genre on yelp! Think tapas, everything fusion, strong flavors, and always a classic truffle something or other. In this case, Eat Chowhas truffle parmesan fries and truffle mac and cheese (not pictured- sorry got too excited!) yum. Quaint and tucked into a side street, the ambiance is of an earthy industrial look, talk about contrast, but it works! We started off with the fries then I opted for the Media Noche Cubano- Slow Roasted Pork Loin, Smoked Ham, Imported Swiss, House Made Pickles and Spicy Mustard. I could have done without the pickles but that’s just me, nonetheless it was melt in your mouth goodness. My sister committed to the truffle Mac ‘N Cheese- Oyster Mushrooms, Bacon and Truffle Oil. As she pulled it apart I saw the strings of cheese melted and mixed in. It was rich and earthy. Perfect comfort food. It was a good sized portion so it was also a perfect meal for later too!

I heard they have an amazing breakfast menu so I’ll have to go back soon! Go now!
